The sequel of the cult-classic OMG! Oh My God stars Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam in lead roles. After portraying the character of Lord Krishna in the first part, the Star will be seen sporting Shiva's avatar in the film.
The sequel would apparently focus on a societal issue whereas the first movie examined the idea of faith and religion. Paresh Rawal and Mithun Chakraborty appeared in the previous film, however the sequel has a new plot and new characters played by Yami Gautam and Pankaj Tripathi. The legendary character of Lord Rama will be portrayed once again by Arun Covil, who played Rama in Ramanand Sagar's TV series Ramayan.
The movie will compete at the box office with Sunny Deöl's Gadar 2. Even Ranbir Kapoor's Sandeep Reddy Vanga film Animal was originally scheduled for release on the same day. Due to ongoing VFX work, the release date was later changed by the producers to December. On August 11, OMG 2 will be released in theatres. More on: Akshay Kumar
